
Madelaine Maior is a self-taught printmaker and illustrator living and working in the Washington DC area. She was born in Colorado to two artists and while she never pursued art through formal education, she has nevertheless been a maker all her life. Her art focuses on the natural world and everyday objects as a way of taking time to consider both the overwhelming grandeur and simple details of the world around us. Her art practice is focused on cultivating a life full of awe.
